    Default Why

I was pretty keen on setting up a Satellite system
But after I did some research I have to ask WHY
It seem to me there is nothing worth watching on Satellite free to air
    Even Select TV seems pointless
    Am I missing something

It's a hobbie, its the thrill of the chase, finding more and more channels even if they are non English at least you can have the satisfaction that you figured it out and then continue the hunt for more.

Keh? SelecTV is a pay tv service, ideal for those who are not tv mad as such, but who would like a little bit of luxury for a daily view or periodic drop in, and for a low low price per month. Other services that carry free to air channels like Russia Today, AlJazeera International, PRESS TV, mmm say 'Smile of a Child' for kids (IF you do't mind that the channel doesn't swear or sexualise things, but invokes god once every 2 hours), or the ABC/SBS TV duplicates on D1, Koreas' Arirang TV in english on IS2 are other channels that you can also view or set an install for.

Sat TV as with internet stuff etc is not all their is to life, I have C band and Ku for unedited news gathering, and the occasional documentary and feeds, does me.

All depends on what you want in life, lacking direction? Seek help, see a monk
