Default Prof. SF - 500 satellite finder.

I have just bought a Prof. SF - 500 satellite finder. Does anybody out there have a link to the manual for this satellite finder.
    Thanks everybody.

Note: the SF-500 comes with a few satellites of no use to OZ, so you can delete them & you need to add the relevant OZ sats.

    Eg: Optus C1

    LNB Lo Freq: 10700
    Transponder/Down freq: 12567
    Symbol Rate: 30000
    Polarity - V

Info regarding more sats at Source:

    Hi iannic47 & beer4life.
I am trieng to retrieve information from the English manual attachment for the Prof. SF - 500 satellite meter and I am getting a HTTP Staus 500 error code message everytime? Is there a better download site?
    Thanks.

I see a few people asking on the net for a Manual for these units.... as it sometimes comes shipped with a Russian Manual etc...

Honestly, i have no idea why people even need a manual, its all pretty self explanatory.
2 minutes scrolling through the 6 different menu selections, and thats all there is to know.

That's one of my uploads. Works fine for me.

    Thanks iannic52 and oceanboy.
I used the I-Pad and can read the manual for the SF-500 satellite meter on the I-Pad, (so I will use that feature.)
The PC HP stand alone refused to open any files - kept on saying error message. We have our emails coming through on the stand alone as well and unfortunately the link to the 4shared downloading account will not open up.
    Thank goodness for second computers!

    Hi Everybody,
I have spent some-time trieng to tune a new 3m mesh dish to Intelsat 19 but no luck. I thought I would try an easier tp but on GE 23 at 172E.
I put 3916 H 3330 Hope Channel International into the Prof SF-500 tuner and tuned the dish to 172E and have a strength of 78 and a Quality of 28 - 38%. Which is quite low! What I am finding weird is I have the buzzer on but the signal meter is not getting buzzer noise with the finder. Can anyone help please? My Openbox is not tuning the satellite in either? Is the quality to low for a tuning on the Openbox and is the quality to low to set the buzzer off?
    Thanks.

    David,

Again.... unless you have raised your dish and cleared it of ALL obstacles in the signal path, you won't get reception!

GE23 is even lower on the horizon than IS19 which you couldn't get because of a blocked signal path.
