Ipod networking problem
G'day..
my uncles son wants to connect his ipod to their wired network using wifi.
now the problem is my uncles net connection, its setup through a dlink modem,
thats connected to a custom router through the company he works for so its been setup very sercure , plus they told him that only 2 computers can be connected so the custom router only has his laptop & desktop connected using their mac addys..
now i have a spare wrt54g laying round so thought i could use that for the ipod.
i have 2 options to get it working:
option 1: connect the wrt inbetween the desktop & the custom router then uncle has to request that they change the destop mac addy to the Wrt54g's mac address.
option 2:
i install a pci network card & plug wrt directlly into destop & configure it that way...
what i want to know how to setup the wrt to share the net with ipod though wifi using option 2??
thanks for any info..

Can't you connect the wireless to the network port of the work modem?
Unless it checks for Mac address or something.
Then get a wireless card for your pc/lappy and your away.
