Email issue

We have had an on/off email issue over the last couple of days with some email not being delivered. Support are looking at this issue at the moment.

Just to let you know I actually received a couple of New Private Message at Austech‏ just before, PM dated 2/1/2013.

The problem should now be fixed, there was an error that was holding some, but not all, email in the mail queue. The emails that were stuck should have just gone out. But if there any furthers issues (or if anyone else has any) please post them up.

Hmmm....bit of a strange one. I just got an email then saying snookums has replied, so its a bit of a strange one because it works for some and not others.

On the old server I used to get emails in my inbox for threads I subscribe to at just after midnight.

They have been regular since the server change at 7pm every night.

Today I got a heap of them at 11:13 am that I had already received yesterday.

Just checked & my 7pm delivery has arrived as per normal.

Hope that helps & not hinders in some form.

I presume you are subscribed to daily ? I am subscribed to instant at the moment and just received notice of your reply.

Correct, subscribed to daily, I scan new posts when online, check my daily's the next morning.

Yep, that all makes sense then. Old server was obviously running the cron job at midnight and this one does at 7. We "flushed the pipes" at after 11 am to unblock the mail queue.

Can those whos email subscriptions have not been working please turn "instant subscriptions" on for this thread please ? We need to know if this is still an issue or is fixed.

Default thread subscription mode, change to instant.

Whn you reply to any thread, you will be instantly subscribed to it and you will get instant email notification of replies.

I have always been subscribed to instant, but i'm still not receiving email notfications, my email is with bigpond I also checked to make sure in my email that they wernt being flagged as spam and going straight to the junk folder
