Lightbulb Power Meter for household items.

Lately I have tried to measure how much electricity each of my household devices is using. I have bought cheap $15 energy power meter from ebay. It’s great for most devices where power usage is more or less same but I am having problems monitoring the fridges. Depending on their duty cycle power goes from 3W to 150W to 250W to 410W. Unfortunately those cheap meter don’t have an average option that I can leave fridge running for a couple of days and see average W consumption.

Do you guys know of any meters that would give me an average Watt usage?

    Mains Power Meter

This intelligent power meter simply plugs into a normal power point (GPO) and turns it into a real-time power monitoring outlet.
You can enter the local price of your electricity and the meter will tell you exactly how much the appliance is costing to run.
In addition, the power meter tracks the power used and can display the instantaneous voltage or current being drawn as well as
the peak levels that have been drawn. The meter has backup batteries so it will not lose the stored data during a blackout or moving
from point to point. Simple to install and a valuable tool for monitoring you power consumption."

I used the Jaycar one some time back and it did what you are asking.
I now have solar and use a Flukso to measure Solar and Consumption.

You could use one of the current clamps on the fridge cct if really necessary.
I use 2x din mounted kw/h meters with pulse o/p.
I purchased a new (Electrolux) fridge after installing the Flukso.
The graphs at night showed a rise from 130w to ~800w for 'x' time for all consumption.
I used that as the fridge cycling.
With the new fridge the usage is still 130w going to 220w with fridge cycling. Its cycle time is shorter but the average is about 1/3 of before.
