No chance fixing it.
Want to sell it for parts?
I have one that was underwater for a day or so.
I have dried it out and sprayed with a CRC product. No joy yet but can they come back from this ?
Is there a fuse which may be blown?
It does not switch on or charge at present but testing the battery on another phone says the battery is low but good.

Yep, 99% chance it's an extreme state of postcoital disrepair....
did you disassemble the phone to dry it out?
If you didn't, I would recommend trying that first, as a drop of water can stay inside a phone for ages.
Disassemble the phone, leave it in pieces for a couple of days to dry out. Re assemble. voi'la should be all working.
If you tried to power it up while water was in it you might be in trouble though
Moof - nah no chance.
Battery is worth $50-75?
Charger $25 to buy?
How much is a case complete? You are a bit light on.
rank1 -will give it a try .It was switched off when flooded and just would not power up after but I find battery was discharged now
dry it out try another bty i done this heaps of times see how you go
put the phone in an airtight container with some silica gel crystals ,that should dry it out in 24-48 hours!
use to do that to water logged hearing aids years ago.
Dash
Good one thanks . I found the little memory container was still wet too !
yea keep trying the crystals worked for me,or just take all things out ,batt, card, and just sit it in a dry warm place might take 2 or 3 days.good luck, and if she does fail id give you a decent price for it
cheers
Put it in a vaccume chamber
I fixed a Nokia 6110 two years ago that way after a full wash, rinse & spin in a fisher & pykel.... It's still going two years later.
I made a post about it here about 1 year BC
Reality is an invention of my imagination.

i bet all the tracks around the battery connectors are gone.
the battery is totally unsafe too because the charge controller will be eaten away too.
the only good part of the phone will be the covers.
Hmmm ...well Ive had a 2x magnifying glass on what I could get at and there is no damage I can see to tracks . The battery was still at about half power when I got to it which is where it was when it went under.
Thats why my first post asked if there was a fuse which may have blown? Do you know ?
i have also seen the ends eaten off the SMD resistors.
has the lead on the parts gone grey or green.
i have fixed phones that have been in water for half an hour but the tracks are a bit thin in places.
i have not seen a fuse in a mobile phone (big BRICK) since 1995.
Learnt another drying trick from my grandson. Shove it in a bag of dried rice. Worked nicely

Just a bit to add in here . There is a guy in the states,NY that fixes apple phones . His first attack is to pull it apart ,get the board out and dunk it in alchol and a vbration type jewelery cleaner which absorbes the water and then let it dry out .
