Wanted - Select installer - Brisbane Northside

G'day all,
Looking for a quote to get a complete Select install in Carseldine, Brisbane. The house is single story, single brick and a clear north shot isn't a problem. The install is for my old man, I would do it myself but I'm in Melbourne. He says he can get the install done (equip and labour) if he signs up for 24months at $9.95 a month on top of the subscription. It might be the way to go, just seeing what's out there.

In all honesty , thats a fair price as long as he is prepared to stay with them for 24 months. An installer mate ( sorry not up there , in Melbourne ) charges around $250 for an standard install from memory if thats anything to go by.

Its just whether your old man is happy to be locked in for 24 months. At least its a cheap service and he isnt locked in to $105.00 a month.

He may be better of paying a installer $250 and have the option to drop them rather than $250 over 24 months and locked into a contract unless he could drop the contract and payout the balance of the installation only.

Thanks for that guys, I reckon he has already got himself a good deal....I'll tell him to go with that. He is just sick of paying $107 to fox per month....thats pretty expensive for repeats and adds.

I've just recently ditched my Select service & i've still got my Strong 4658 if your interested might save him a few dollars on the install.

Nah sorry Daggy, I should have closed the thread.....he ended up going with the 24 month contract. You will be able to sell the box in the buy, sell, trade section.
