As I've already mentioned some posts above: it's probably an Aakash branded tablet. Read this . The commercial version of Aakash 2 is offered in the Indian market as the UbiSlate 7Ci. You can buy this UbiSlate 7Ci for approx. $80 USD.

I took the plunge and bought one seen it's not a lot of money and pretty safe with PayPal, and I can tell you there is no tablets he isn't even taking the money. Don't know what he is up to.

if by not taking the payment you mean you aren't able to send the money through PayPal then I would think they have already locked it down and are onto them

    Should be interesting either way.
Bahamas it is. The original listing and other 2 or 3 have all been removed by ebay.

He obviously made good money. Its a far better way to scam people offering an item for a small price as people think its worth taking the risk. Unfortunately, thats what keeps the scammers pockets full.

I take it that it was a scam Tony ? Every ebay sales pages has been removed so I presume it was a scammer.

I also ordered and paid for one of these on ebay, but the paypal resolution centre accepted my non receipt of goods claim and have already refunded my money.

    Nothing lost...

Many companies make various claims and then when required to, fail to honor those agreements.

I have used Paypal where possible for many years now, but have never had to make any sort of claim on them. It is very reassuring to hear that they refunded your money, so we can continue to use them with confidence.
