The the lastest BigW toy catalogue which starts tomorrow 3/7/08, the Xbox 360 arcade is $278, it does NOT have a hdd nor is it backwards compatible

If your worried about this I have been told to get lot numbers 815 or earlier.

Also make sure the consiole manufacturing date is March 2008 or earlier. Consoles made in April onwards can't be updated as they will have the new Benq-Liteon drives.



From what I've read Big W opend at midnight and one purchaser said he got lot 802 mid January 2008. So there are still consoles around that have the older flashable benq drives. They do say 205w but if the power supply says 175 then its the newer cooler falcon chipset.

And no the new lite on won't be cracked any time soon if ever.
