realocating space on HDD (VISTA)
Hi all,
I’m trying to do something on my laptop which has vista home premium installed.
Its got a 250Gb hdd which is partitioned in 2. C drive is the O/S drive and D drive is for data storage.
I had a look in Computer management because I was to be able to reduce the size of C drive from 150Gb to something like 50Gb and the 100Gb to be added onto D drive.
The problem is that when I try and reduce the size of the HDD in computer management, it creates another drive.
I’d prefer to just have C drive and D drive instead of C, D, E.
Is there any way I can do this?
Thanks

I'd ditch Vista for starters, then get a copy of Partition Magic and use that to reconfigure your hard disc.
is also good, free and bootable

Go acronis disk director, more bullet proof than the others, also free if you know where to look.
