Sanity, so when you say a dead gamma is fixed it comes
back with different details
are you saying the gamma i brought from one of
our sponsors can be reloaded
Now that would be some nice news
Or are we talking about sellers cards
cheers
Well I suppose someone will start a thread sooner or later so I might as well kick it off.
From what I have seen , all sellers gamma cards are humming along nicely. There appears to be a bit of a shortage of them compared to what there was but they are still out there being sold. I reckon some of the sellers would have made a fortune by now.
Apart from the one public gamma file which was released and killed by the providers within a week , there has been nothing public made available.
I also have learnt that when a dead gamma is " fixed " it comes back with a different HSN so I am guessing details do die and have to be replaced with others. Someone must have a large listin of working details or has done the unthinkable and has a key generator type setup that spits out valid details.
I have seen a provider message on a screen of a gamma in a Irdeto hardware cam asking the customer to contact Austar over payment. This would suggest that these details are in use by legit Austar subscription holders.
Anyone got anything new to add ? I realise we are speculating , but lets try and keep it within the boundaries of some reality. The brothers mates uncles sisters friend type rumour isnt required , lets just try and keep it to what you have actually seen or what someone who is likely to know a bit has said. Logical theories are welcome.

Yes , I am talking about sellers cards.
I dont know if sellers can reactivate public cards , maybe someone out there knows.
they dont have a large listing of HSN its called RNG algo (random number generator) .
if you look through the file listed a while back and went through it you would have seen that it uses TDES and RSA but 1/3 down the page was reference to the RNG.
though at no point in the file was there any key or reverse key set supplied
dont say linux if i wanted it id install it
It obviously has Irdeto stumped.....does anyone know of any measures they have taken overseas in regards to attempting to stop them ? ( of a tech nature , not arresting people )
I suppose its a similar situation to last time , knocking one set of seller details out is like bailing one bucket of water out the side of the Titanic
I guess what this all comes down to is that someone other than mindport has a copy of the Irdeto 2 algorithm, and knowledge of the encryption. Even with a random number generator, HMK? etc etc I just cant believe that there isn't non public software capable of extracting details. I mean lets face it the "world" is full of non public IT software and hacks. the big question, or rather the telling answer will be if the release of newer version cards solves the issue from mindports perspective. I would expect that this is all coming down to practical investigation, if and when mindport discover(assuming they dont already know) what the backdoor is it'll be closed, my guess is they probably don't, and that will require solid foot work on there part. The pirates are playing a much smarter game this time, degrees of separation, far more secrecy, I mean really there is as much money in this scam as drugs and it wouldn't surprise me if the same people are bankrolling it.
When uploading the file to a sellers card, each card to upload it to has different details on the card. If theres a message from a* that would be 1000 to 1 id say. Although i have come across a few cards coming up with a "invalid card" message. These cards just need a file update.
Public file was a scam, it took everyone for a ride including me, although i never went out a gamma card with or without the file. The sellers card is old technology, in europe they use a satellite receiver with all this info on the sellers card built into to actual receiver. This way theres no card, its just software with the right firmware and codes. It supports IR1 and IR2 as far as I know..
My box is on the way and i'm sure some of you will see it at the pubs in about 6 to 12 months
e
This box sounds interesting hey ! how much ?, Any way if only sellers gammas work , how come there are so many on e-bay for more $ than a couple of months ago? Why would anyone pay top dollar for something that does not work ?
THB_77 Because they can use them to make sellers cards.
what sellers cards here or in Greece????
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
A few months ago there were a number of greeks buying blank/dead/non seller gamma cards off people selling them on here. I even got an email from a greek asking if I knew any bulk suppliers as they just cant get enough of them over there.
ive been offered 300$ for a whitey with 1.4os on it by a greek an italian only last week
dont say linux if i wanted it id install it
So unless your a seller or want to experiment these cards are of no use in oz at the moment !
What I was hopping that the sellers will run out of cards lol
and then they would have to use the gamma cards and
reprogram them for us for a small fee
Well I can only dream lol

Who was the first person to post the public gam file, someone must know where it came from. i thought it might have been WestAussie
not adding anything, but my ears have pricked up.. I know nada about this... so will ask the dumb questions... these seller cards, these are pre-programmed to receive a pay service? excuse lack of knowledge here, the keys roll and what happens it just acts as normal paid sub?
I sold most of mine to a seller, why would he buy a bunch of ice scrapers for the same price I payed for them?
He even offered a discount on a seller card if I provided my own gamma card.
Since the public files went down I have no interest in spending any more money on this so I was just happy to get rid of them. In fact this will be my last post on the subject of gamma cards or files ever on austech. Too many other cool things to check out and discuss on here.
