Is it possible to stream shows from computer to my TV using a WDTV player ?? thanks

yes
I use Plex Media Server
designate folder and will scan and even find you the correct name and covers automatically
uses DLNA
If you have uPNP or DLNA on TV you can go straight to TV.
Plex also re-encodes on the fly to support media stream standards.

Yes but my question is i want to watch this on my tv but i dont see how i can do it, i have checked out plex and i cant see how i could add anything to my WDTV player
If you don't want to run hdmi cable from pc to tv you might want a wireless option
