Speedcam.txt goes to the CONTENT\SPEEDCAM folder & for the POI, the file should be named Austalia.poi which goes to the CONTENT\POI folder, not sure why you have a poi in text format.

    Cheers

Does iGO8 work in a similar fashion to iGO6 with speedcams ? I recall in iGO6 you could drop a properly formatted CSV into a folder and upon startup it'd convert and create a db for you.

Will have to try it later in the week... Sound interesting... I use my system alot when off Road and beach fishing... Save my spots as fav or POI so I can get to them of a Night. It looks like iGO8 has a little feature that allows you to keep you on the road or will allow you to be off road. TomTom was the only other that I could get that would allow me to do what I need to.. If further testing (Maps and accuracy is of concern) proves ok, then I may yet be a full convert.

Went to try with the NEW iGO8 install.

System seems to be a little quicker... But no more Speed cam, red light warnings etc etc

Have tried replacing the speedcam.spdb and speedcamupdate.spud as well a Trafix controll txt file... Nothing happens or appears to get updated... Does not see or detect these important issues...

    Any suggestions ?

A Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is a representation of the terrain using point elevations. Straight from Google "australia.dem"
Shows the basic elevations and contours you see on the map

Two sets of poi both ,Australia poi and Australia productB poi in ,Contents.Poi
    Have you activated them?
Manage>Poi>edit.select range you will then see a tick.
You can also add ,for instance schools ,in user data poi using your card reader. Speed and other cameras are activated Settings>Warnings and check appropriate boxes. Cheers
