    Default Dsi games

    Hi there,
My daughter just got a dsi tonight.
I would like to know if what used to work still does as far as game backup etc.
New to this so please be gentle.
I read some previous posts but are a little dated.
    Cheers.
    Pm's most welcomed.

All I can tell you is last time I played I got a chip and downloaded a billion games and I got her 1 real game, Mario Kart 7 or something

And as soon as she put the real game in it updated the firmware so my chip wouldn't work LOL

The better cards come with updates/firmware to combat this

I only buy cards that i know i can get updated firmware for, although most generics can use firmware from another card manufacturer.

I bought one last week from the site below, hasn't arrived yet so cant really say if it's a good place or not, it was cheap, free shipping. I also had to buy through a different store on a different item because paypal wont allow sales on these cards.
    ) 3DS 4.5 compatible WOOD Rev. C max 1 piece
I also found this forum and these threads helpful.

My son got the Dsi for christmas, and I thought it was really user friendly. I know that it won't play the gameboy advance games. My other 2 sons have the nintendo ds lites, and theirs will play both. The charger is also different. The newer games that they have come out with work really nice. My boys want to upgrade to the 3ds but I can't do that right now, because then it is a whole new kind of card, I'm not even sure the difference but I know they would need new games for the 3ds, not the dsi though.

I think you will find that the DSi games will play in the 3DS machine but not in 3D (visual).
