Default Built my mame Box, Works great.

A few months ago I purchased a Mame Box of Ebay which was in very Crap condition but It had a near new 32" LCD TV and all the buttons Joysticks and ipaq controller I needed for $242.50 ( Bargain I thought with TV, PC, Buttons, Joystick & Ipaq Controller )
the box was absolute crap and way to large so I started tinkering around in my shed.
Could not believe that the box actually held together when I went to pick it up from Melbourne as the Screws were barley through the 10 mm boards. ( When my brother picked it up from werribbe in Melbourne to take it to his house for me to pick up the top blew of somewhere )
as soon as I got home i took a saw to it and cut of the sides and cut a hole in the front for the short time it sat on my decking as per photos you see.

I built a new box over the course of free time over 2 - 3 weeks and got it all together, Resoldered a heap of wires ( tinned ends and fixed bad connections to buttons etc , Wired up power button to top.)
    This is the end result.
Reinstalled Windows on the PC - It had the non legit Windows message on the computer that was supplied with it and upped the ram.

The Box now has Much bigger hard drive with heaps or MP3's
Have put in Internet radio shortcuts.
    TV antenna connected.

So it has around 9000 mame games
    Internet - Radio etc
    120 Gig worth of MP3's
    TV
Might have to get internet tv working on it next.

    Pics should be in order.

Just After I received IT & Butchered parts Of it.

    Cost Mame via Ebay $242.50
    16mm MDF & Screws $ 140
paint $100 - Wasn't happy with the first coat of Red vengeance so Gave it a few more coats. Used old paint in Shed for first few coats.
Total Around $500 for an Entertainment unit.

Today The man Cave got all the merbu varnished, Was not happy with the Aquadeck stuff, It was so dull and seemed to mark really easily - Its only been 12 months since I coated it last, So Now its all nice and Shiny , very Happy with the Shine Now.

Yesterday I changed the Speakers I had inside the Mame - They were very crappy sounding so I grabbed a 2.1 Speaker System I had Laying around and mounted it inside and now it sounds the part.

Need to hide the Keyboard and mouse in a Sliding Drawer
Looks enough room under the Joysticks and above the Door

I wanted Easy access to keyboard and mouse as Its also used for Music etc, Did not want to have to pull out A drawer every time I wanted to change music , Internet radio etc.
Also not running any front end with the 9000 games in there. Just the stock mame thingy.

Mine is used for A juke box aswell As a mame unit.
The buttons and joystick act as the keyboard.

I also use keyboard for typing the name of the games as opposed to scrolling through 9000 games, I could cull a few thousand games but just find it simple to type in wonderboy etc.

Which software you using for jukebox ?

I think its sk jukebox will have to double check.
I just add my games to the favorites and play from there.
