Use the JCV from the latest Navteq link they are area specific not supplier specific.

Hey Tiny, have you actually got this tor work? I gave it a shot, but no luck.

I just got the the Sensis 2013.4 img & the Navteq 2013.4 JVC & SQlite DB - JVC files aren't working but the the Traffic Tends does show up.

I much prefer the split-screen style JVC of the Navteq so would like to get it working if possible, otherwise I'll just use the Sensis ones when Garmin releases it (how the hell did we get the download anyway??)

I'm not using this mapset, still trying to get used to Navteq as i feel all Garmin users will.
It appears I've made an error, the JCV file is map manufacturer specific, sorry for any trouble it may have caused you, try using the last JCV from Sensis.

Regards, Sensis maps & support from Garmin, I would suggest this will disappear if it hasn't already, they have a new supplier, Navteq, get used to it. I'm trying to, but they are good in some places & really suck in others, I'm thinking of having both installed on my 1490, however a bit worried that may confuse the missus, when some of the road names change when I change maps.

The download links appear broken. I say, appear, because the 'Uploaded' download page is in what I guess to be German. Since I don't read German I clicked on the 'Free Download' button and after counting down 30 seconds I get to download a the file 'ilqmuoni1d521f11.js'. This file contains '{"err":"captcha"}'.

    Have I missed something?

    Please help

Links working fine, in English just slow for standard download.

The "captcha" is where you type in the 2 words that you see for security.

    Thanks Tiny,

I've done as suggested. Below is what I get.

So I saved the file. Opened it with 'Notepad' only to read '{"err":"captcha"}'.

    Hopefully yours

Ooops! There seems to something wrong with my 'winnDOZE 7' and/or 'Internet Explorer' setup.

I used another computer with a different operating system, and the files downloaded fine. Why is it so?

    Sorry Tiny

I'm using the file D2003120A.jcv with a Nuvi 1450/1490, so you may be able to figure out what group matches what file.

    Hi Tiny,

The D2003120A.JCV file gives a full screen junction view and D3299060A.JCV gives a half screen view on my Nuvi 3590.

pietu, the ASR files are not for Australian English, so if at all possible & you would be so kind as to post the ASR Australian English link, I would be most appreciative.

Hi Tiny. Will try to update my 1490T it keeps telling me my maps are over 12 months old. Havn't tried this before.
Read your tutorial and backed all original files from nuvi to a folder on c:\ drive. Downloaded all the AU/NZ 2013.40 Sensis files and all other info to read as well.
In the .system folder on nuvi I have gmapprom.img but in the downloaded image unlocked folder I see gmapsupp.img Do I just copy/replace the new file for the old one, or should I rename the new file as gmapprom.img and then copy/replace in .system folder. What to do? Dont want to stuff my nuvi. Will replace SQlite and JCV as well.
Is this pgm ok, I read that the ASR files are not in Australian English is this still true, please advise.
    Thanks.
