Default External IDE Raid Array via USB?

Has anyone ever seen of a beast that is external to the PC, allows the installation of IDE/SATA drives and links to the host via USB?

I am not talking about a simple USB HDD case, but a USB RAID type array.

I would like to have 4 or 5 (or more for future expansion) 500GB HDD's in a RAID5 configuration but using IDE or SATA and use USB.

    thanks

    Default

if you were using win2k3, or hacked raid 2k3 drivers on XP.. you could do it..

Software raid in 2k3 and hacked XP allows you to raid anything that it is Diskmanagement and USB drives are shown there..
