    The answer is NO. Each VAST card is firmly associated to the one box. And as Rodnic says, it is a non issue anyway.

    So please tell us about the unit when it is up and running. Active Electronics in Hobart have them FS, freight free (this month) for $279. See

    Stupid question, but I have never owned a PVR capable box before.

    Can I watch one channel and record another with the SatKing DVBS2-800CA ?

    No. You can look at a recorded file while recording another. To do what you ask requires a twin tuner unit like the UEC & Humax.

    POSTSCRIPT: Note you can e.g. record ABC1 and then could look at ABC2 BUT not e.g. record on the ABC channels and try to look at some other like SBS, WIN etc
