Default Reception of Intelsat 19 - C Band in Australia.

    Hi everybody,
I am just wondering what strength everybody is receiving the transponders off this bird in Oz. In Perth we are on the edge of the footprint. I am having trouble tuning this bird - I am able to receive everything else from 64.2E - 138.0E.
I would also like to confirm that 3740 H 27500 MTV China
4060 H 26590 NHK Tokyo are both still SD.
    Thanks everybody.

    David,

Why do you keep starting threads on this subject when you know for a fact you have a blocked signal path?

You ask for advice, but when it's given, you ignore it.

Until you ensure your dish is clear of EVERY obstacle in the signal path, you are just wasting your time.

As you can see from patrol7's reply, they are using a smaller dish than you and signals are fine.... because they obviously have a clear signal path... no trees, fences or buildings in the way.

Sorry MTV this thread was back on June the 9th - it is not a new thread?
    Thanks.

Perhaps not a new thread started today, but still another thread about the same issue you are having with a blocked signal path. (There's no need for multiple threads)

You've posted on June 26, this time about not being able to tune IS19... so you are now trying for an even more difficult satellite to receive (GE23).

My point is that I and others have repeatedly told you that your signal path is blocked, by trees, fences and other buildings, so until you ensure the signal path is completely clear towards satellites you're trying to receive, there's no point continuing to ask the same questions.

Yes my question was regarding the Prof. SF - 500 satellite finder was more of the actual working of the signal meter. Thanks.
