I will be getting the one, when it comes out. As for the unit having to be online everyday (mixed reports) well my current unit is, so no big deal.
As for the unit not being backwards compatible, how many are playing original games on the 360. Not many I would guess.

That price seems quite reasonable with the way tech units usually go when first released.

I'm from the US, but how is the Xbox One that much in the UK? That's like $650+. That doesn't even make sense, does Microsoft even know what currency exchange is?

Does Microsoft even give a sh#t, I think not. They're on a hiding to a big fat loser on this one, PS4 here I come.

I don't think I will be buying the Xbox One anymore. I mean the price is so high and they basically f*ck you every which way. Having to be online all the time, not being able to buy and sell used games. BS.

Lots of people out there say they will not be buying the Xbox One due to the price and some bull that it comes with, basically the same thing for the PS4 too. I decided I will be going all PC unless a miracle happens for me to change my decision, I guess we will have to see. I have been a hardcore console gamer all my life and may have to change because I'd rather pay a fee of $1,000 for a PC that can play better games and do more than a console + when I need to upgrade it I can buy the parts and install them instead of a whole new build.

i think the microsoft and sony will end up shooting themselves in the foot
with the restrictions and prices .

When for a similar price you can have a kickass computer running hdmi
to your plasma - lcd playing the same games without the restrictions.
dont say linux if i wanted it id install it
