I'm surely not buying it I'm having a really hard time choosing between the PS4 and buying a new gaming PC for around $1000. I'm just curious to see what people are mostly going to buy, I'm 99% sure if you did your research on the xbox one that you will not be wanting it so I think PS4 has a really good chance this year!

Not a chance in hell that I would buy an XBox One. No more bringing games over to mates to have game nights, the licensing restrictions are just too tight to be reasonable.

Microsoft Drops All Xbox One DRM, Lending and Used Game Restrictions Removed

Microsoft announces that it is dropping all Digital Rights Management solutions it has previously announced for its coming Xbox One home console, which means that the device will no longer ask to connect to the Internet every 24 hours and that games can be re-sold and given to friends at will.

The complete reversal of policy comes after many fans complained about Xbox One DRM since they were announced and especially during E3 2013.

Don Mattrick, the president of the Interactive Entertainment Business division, states, "We have listened and we have heard loud and clear from your feedback that you want the best of both worlds."

Downloadable games and physical disks are expected to work exactly as they do today on the Xbox 360.

The Xbox One DRM elimination means that Microsoft’s policies are now in line with those of the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

I plan on buying the Xbox one. Still deciding if it is better to purchase locally or purchase from amazon. Will need to find out if changes to power supply etc needed for US Xbox one to be used in Australia.

Good move by Microsoft for removing region restriction on the system.

I definately wan't to purchase this device because I wan't to try a new Gaming system and this is my opportunity. The only systems I have owned are Playstation 2, Nintendo, and Wii. I would like to get to understand the Xbox and if I like it, buy plenty games to play on it!

Already pre-ordered my day one edition. DRM all the other crap doesn't bother me. Not into pirated games and play plenty online. I have enough devices connected to my network that something's always wanting online access so that point didn't bother me either. Quite looking forward to it.

PS4 is the way to go, Microsoft have made gigantic mistakes with this console. The DRM thing was a disaster, who are they do say that you can't sell or buy second hand games? What if you don't want to activate your console on the internet every day? I don't care that they have removed these, the fact that they were implementing them in the first place is scary.

Microsoft are trying to be fancy and turning the console into a family entertainment machine and have sacrificed the gaming side for it.

Sony have just got better and better and have really made a stunning console, for me its an easy choice!
