Any memory/performance management utilities you got running in the system tray or a tweeking utility maybe? just disable and or try shutting them down those as a precausion. I has a similar problem yonks ago and doing this resolved it. Hope this helps.

Hi cheers for that, not to sure if i had anything like that running as far as i am aware nothing was?
The issue is now fixed, i disabled the front usb ports and put a card reader in istead of the Floppy drive.
Buggered if i know what happened in the first place.
