Default Cars and trucks from early to mid 1900's

EDIT : WARNING, HEAVY BANDWIDTH THREAD AHEAD. MANY PHOTOS AVOID IF YOU HAVE A SMALL DATA ALLOWANCE.

While I have been recently doing my family tree, I have been given a heap of old photos and noticed that there were a few showing some old time relos out and about on their trips in the car. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in having a look if I posted them up ?

I am asking first as I will have to go through a pile of photos to find them all (which I dont mind doing) but thought I would check for interest before going ahead (no point doing it if no one cares). They had wooden spoke wheels so not sure what age. 1920's ? I also have a copy of my great grandfathers Car Licence issued in 1911 in Cornwall just before he emigrated to Australia. Also some WW2 trucks my grandfather drove in New Guinea, not sure what is what but in his war diary he does talk about a Ford and a Chev truck so I might be able to work it out.

I was going to make a fake email address and make some parts enquiries on them if you didnt drop in GZ

I am out at the moment, so will start hunting them up when I get home. I havent gone through all the photos, but I did see at least 3 so far so who knows what we will come up with. It should be fun trying to work out makes and models ( 10 bucks says its not a Commodore )

Paisley Shirt, raised collar with the top buttons undone, stove pipe legs and 'winkle picker' shoes, the hair slicked with either Brylcream or California Poppy into a brush back sort of style with a dash of Bay Rum deodorant behind the ears, Daddy Oh, we were the sharpest................
Ohhh, lets not forget the sideburns either..........
But as for 'Old Vehicles', around St Peters in Sydney in the early 50's you often saw small lorries with cast spoked wheels and solid rubber 'tyres' carting bricks from the nearby brickworks.
The drivers 'cab' had no doors or windscreen and talk about clanking and clattering as they bounced in and out of the potholes and over the Tram lines.
But then when someone (me) who thought a Hillman Imp was a neat little car show what poor taste people have.
Zephys and Consuls were also high on the list too.
I remember my Uncle bought a Ford sedan that we called 'The Back to Front Cat' because it looked the same, front and rear, I think it was the 'single spinner' grille, circa 1952?

I wonder if that vehicle he drove in New Guinea was a Ford 'Blitz', if it was you used to see them on farms everywhere for may years and often they were used as a Fire Truck long before the formation of todays RFS (NSW) was formed.
Most were unregistered and nobody said anything so long as they were only used on the roads in that capacity but eventually they had to be replaced as they were very slow and well and truly passed their safe usage date.
I drove one once very briefly (10 minutes), double clutch to change gear and the steering was heavy and all over the place.

Fark it, one more. Straight out of Deliverance.

Relo's on a shoot. Most of my relo's on that side had families of 12, 14, etc. I wouldnt fancy getting their sister pregnant, would you ? 20 guns at your head ? Not sure what the car is.
