    Default PS1 & PS2 Emulators?

I was chatting to a friend recently about emulators and although we had discovered between us we had played an emulator of virtually every type of console that was released by late 1990s, we were both a bit miffed about not being able to find a decent Playstation 1 or Playstation 2 emulator. Do any exist? There used to be a few decent sites around for this but the ones they would mentioned never seemed to work.

Thought I would ask on here.

    Have you heard of Bleem?
What I have heard it that it was so good, that Sony purchased the rights to it to make it go away.

The problem was that it became better than the real thing while the real thing was still on the market.

I remember trying Bleem when it first came out, worked well but most PC hardware was still lacking to support it fully.

They were sued out of existence, shame.

I can play PS1 games on my PSP with custom firmware. Haven't heard of any PlayStation emulators for the PC though, but they should exist, because modern PCs are certainly powerful enough to handle PS1 and PS2 graphics and a high fps rate.

I was about to suggest using firmware on your psp to play PS1 games. Man I love killing time on the classic Metal Gear Solid when I'm in the airport or something.
