    Default foxtel and iptv

i got foxtel at home.im just wondering if i would be able to set up my own home iptv service so i can catch it in my other rooms without paying extra for multiroom. not sure if this is illegal to do but any help would be great. ie... what equipment i would need if its possible. cheers

Well I guess anything is possible (except for striking a match on a jelly) but why bother with the headache and expense, Foxtel already provides this via the Foxtel GO app, just put a cheap laptop in each bedroom and upscale the output to a descent screen. Go allows for three devices at no extra cost from memory
In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.

Watch some of our most popular channels live on your iPad, iPhone, Mac & PC, and selected Samsung Android devices.

so if its installed on a laptop - pc and you have a good video card with hdmi you can watch it
on a lcd tv etc connected to the pc -laptop as a second monitor

The only downside is that you need a good amount of bandwidth per month

Platform --------- -----Device ---------Min Speed --------- Max Speed
    WiFi Tablet ---------Smartphone ------435mb p/hr ---------910mb p/hr
    3G Tablet -----------Smartphone -----155mb p/hr ---------300mb p/hr
    PC / Mac -------- --------- ------ ----435mb p/hr ---------1325mb p/hr
