Ok so I need two numbers, I'm just weighing up the options.
The pros for 2 handsets are you can always tell who is ringing you by the phone
You can take two calls at once.
You can enjoy both android and apple if you desire.
And if you lose one you still have another phone.
The pros for 1 handset is, you have one handset.
I'm going to start with two handsets and see how I go.
What are peoples thoughts.

I use multiple handsets due to travel and having different numbers in different countries, I do have a couple of dual SIM handsets but primarily used for numbers I need active but don't actively need to use, just to receive messages, screen calls etc
for actual usage I do tend to use two handsets mostly, in part that was because the dual sim handsets I had were just dumb phones although I did recently pickup a dual sim ThL smart phone so may use it a bit more, will still keep using two handsets regardless I suspect though
Can't use call waiting with 2 phone numbers.

Having just purchased a dual sim smartphone, here are my thoughts:
Mine can only do 3G on one sim so one will be on 2G all the time.....other phones may be different.
Mine is not quad band 3G so may have problems on optus in Australia .....other phones may be different.
When it rings it tells you clearly who is calling through which sim....there is probably a simple way to change the ringtone for each sim but I don't have two sims to test it (I got it for an overseas trip soon)
Remember it is twice as easy to lose one if you have two.
For business in Australia I would (for now) stick with 2 phones but I may have a different opinion once I use it overseas....for me I got it for holiday convenience...by the time I have loaded up my camera, wallet, map, sunnies, reading glasses, pen and 2 phones, keys etc. I got no pockets left
