DayZ - who's playing it?

Hi again guys,
been a while since I've been on this forum.
I've been investing most of my gaming hrs on DayZ & also Arma2 Wastelands mod for past year.
I'm interested in hooking up with any fellow Austechians who play these games? A few mates of mine have a teamspeak server as well if you feel like joining in.
Anyone here into DayZ?

I'm into it, but sadly I have not gotten on it recently because of my busy schedule at my university. Wasn't there a new game of it or mod of DayZ coming out? What happened to that?

DayZ Standalone if thats what you mean.
They said they would release Alpha 12 months ago.
They had a change of heart & decided to work on the project & create a whole new engine for it apparently + new Zombies etc.
Hype trains been running lately & looks like it may be out hopefully by Christmas....we hope

Played some Day-Z at the beginning of the year, but to be honest the mod needs still needs a lot of work. The way zombies are attracted to loud noise is so out of proportion it's crazy. I liked how much teamwork you need to have with your friends in order to survive in there and the communication skills that the game taught me. but we I played it it felt unplayable because of those crazy zombie mechanics, I don't know how it is right now as I haven't played the game in over 6 months, hopefully it changed.
