VIC: 3m dish - 75mm pole - where to buy
Hello,
I'm in Victoria and I'm looking for a 3m dish that can be mounted on a 75mm pole.
Do you guys know where I can get one?
Thanks,
B.

Generally, the larger the dish, the larger the pole diameter.
The largest dish with 75mm/76mm mounting is 2.3M.
Once you go to 3M or larger, you'll need a larger mounting pole.
Phoenix Technology have a 3m dish in their catalog which is listed as mounting on a 75mm pole.
I couldn't vouch for that claim, given MTV's comment above.
Phoenix catalog number is #5540 - you can contact them on 03 9553 3399 - their office is at unit 21/148 Cherterville Road, Moorabin.
You can have a look at the dish here:
I have bought quite a bit of gear from this crowd recently - they have provided good customer service, their prices are quite competitive. Brigitte, in the office, is very helpful.

Hopefully that 3m dish is solid enough.
Although it states it's 'heavy-duty' it doesn't show its weight in the specs.
Mounting poles larger than 75mm are usually specified for dishes of this size due to their weight and wind loading.
However, it does meet with what the OP requested.

Thanks for all the inputs.
I did call them but it is out of stock until Oct.
I am using a 2.3m dish atm to catch the vinasat1.
However the signal is very weak.
I want to upgrade to 3m dish.
Do you know where i can find a good reputation installer in Melbourne with affordable charge? I cannot find anything useful on the service directory subforum.
Thanks,
B.

I think the Eurosat 3m mesh dish is mounted on a 75mm pole.
Accessantennas in perth sells them. Give them a call to confirm. Search on Google for their website.
You could contact .
They've been in business for a long time and I believe them to be a reputable company. They could probably also arrange installation or point you to someone who does.
But I think that most installers would wish to supply the equipment also. That way they can guarantee the complete installation and you don't have to worry about hassles involving two different companies, which can become messy with each blaming the other, should problems later occur.
Don't forget that forum member MTV supplies and installs satellite tv reception equipment for a living, although I don't know if he services your area.
