    Default Universal Navcore Installer

To makes things a bit easier I created an installer that includes the following Navcore versions:
9.500 - The Rider Navcore with the new Rider5 skin.
9.510 - The current NC for all current TT models.
9.701 - The current Truck NC.
Although the download is a bit bigger than usual for a Navcore, the installer allows you to have all current Navcores at hand for easy installation and testing.
Once a newer Navcore is available the installer will be updated accordingly, same for more kernel modifications.

    About:
There have been new developments by users for the TT kernels as well one user that supplied the infos needed for the new Rider skin.
The new kernel allows the automatic power on feature for all TT models and a fix for the X10 docking system so the TT won't restart or do other unexpected things when docking in the car.

    Included versions:
9.500 (Rider) - with the new Rider5 skin for 64 and 32mb devices
    9.510 - for all GO, 64mb, 32mb, XL and X10 models
    9.701 (Truck) - for all GO, 64mb, 32mb, XL and X10 models

    Included features/fixes:
TMC fix for all wired receivers
Loquendo engine patched for devices that have no computer voices with the original Navcore
GPS quick included for the use with a connected phone
Devices with a SIRF chipset can use the updater in the folder "ephem" instead of Home
Emulation can be selected on the last menu page using the Skin Chooser
    Some minor things

    Things to know:
    1. It is recommended to do a full backup using the Windows Explorer first!
    2. Check if you really did the backup and if hidden and system files are selected to be visible.
    3. It is recommended to install on an empty device, first the Navcore, than the map, after that your personal files.
    4. In case your device does not support LoquendoTTS voices (computer voices) by default, follow this procedure:
4a: Download the computer voice of your choice and unpack the CAB file to your empty TT/SD.
    4b: continue with step 5
    5. From your backup copy the file ttgo.bif to the root of your TT/SD card. - Don't miss this step as otherwise you need to start your TT before you activate the map!
    6. Start the installer, read and check the provided infos and instructions within the installer carefully!
    7. Select the Navcore and version for your needs on the left, again, check the provided infos!
    8. Click on Install and select the drive letter of your TT/SD card - do not enter any paths as they will be created for you.
    9. When done exit the installer.
    10. Unpack the map of your choice to the TT/SD card.
    11. Although mentioned in many threads: Make sure there is a meta code for your map available, without it the map can't be activated!
    12. Using the latest!! version of FastActivate activate your map, the Navcore is patched and does not require any further "treatment" !
    13. Enjoy!

    Troubleshooting:
A: There is no Skin Chooser and the emulation is not correct
Open the file "reskin" on the folder "skins" with Notepad++
Edit the first entry so it show the emulation you want to use.
B: The computer voice does not work
Make sure that you installed the Navcore after the voice, if in doubt run the installer again.
If not already used try the XL version of the Navcore.
C: The device start with the ignition but does not turn off automatically
    Check the battery saving preferences
D: Map features like Lane images are not working
That is not my problem and not related to the Navcore

    Download:
You can download the installer .

    Hello Downloader35
Thankyou for your support to this forum over the years. I would like to update my go730 and found this thread, however when I click on the download link, it takes me too linksave.ln and when I try to download from filefactory.com after joining, my windows 7 pc says the 2 files are blocked by smartscreen filter.
Can you please provide an alternative link.
    Thanks In advance.

Simply try Jdownloader for your needs.
If you can't download from FF over Linksave it is a problem of your settings on you PC.

    And for the next noob:
Assuming something is not helpful, the links are online and active, might help to learn how to use Filehosters.

It seems you only came here to rant
Its all over the internet this file is a pain in the arse to get hold
This, to use your words, is simply bullshit. A few hundret successful downloads show other results.
The funny thing about it is that more experienced users simply say thank you and enjoy the files, the only complaints I get come from noobs and newbies with no postings prior to their complaints.
So don't get me wrong, but if you are unable to download files from filehosters complain to them and not to me
And if I would always upload to the servers some noob wants I would probably hosting my files on all known fileservers by now...
Some time ago there was a filebox here, but this seems to be lost as well.
