Default Do people still search for satellite feeds?

Just wondering if people blindscan for satellite feeds anymore as there aren't too many posted in the FTA sat section. I don't go searching for them as much as I would like but if anyone else finds them it would be great to hear what's being found, even if I don't watch them.

    Hi Leroy,
I have found these days that the business of full time work, bathroom and kitchen renovations and busy week-ends with family and work just don't leave much time for satellite feed searching.
Next year once our reno's are finished and I am working less I hope to have some more available time for satellite feed searching.
A good topic to bring up Leroy!
    Cheers...............David.............

I gave up a fair time ago. Because I have Foxtel and VAST, most sports are on there, so no need to look much more.

One thing that dampens the enthusiasm is so many are now encrypted or in a foreign language which no matter how entertaining the video is, you havent a clue what your watching.

I think it depends what you want. A good friend's wife is from Indonesia and she wanted some FTA channels from Palapa 113 and Telkom 108. There are also FTA channela carrying live English Premier League soccer on Palapa 113.

Free to Air Laliga on Thaicom Cband as well.

There are many fta feeds of sports going around. I am lucky I learnt Malay at a RAAF Base in Point Cook and am also fluent in Chinese. One of the reasons I keep the Indo sats is that it's good fun to keep up with the language.

Well if you don't have your own system on SKy UK do be aware that many os these IPTV boxes get shutdown as they are illegal streaming systems. So buyer beware.

It's not the same as having your own slingbox or vulkano on a Sky UK stb and streaming to yourself.

All the services I provide are legal.

I too like the thrill of chasing feeds but struggle to find time, if I find any ill try and post them. It seems like this activity is dieting out a bit

Since I have you here, when you blind scan a feed say a single transponder and its feeds modulation is in either DVB-S2/QPSK or DVB-S2/8PSK will the blind scan function on the AZ Premium Plus box find this transponder. If not how do you go about finding them outside doing Advanced search toggling between each modulation.
I remember reading somewhere that the AZ Box will not find these modulations if on a single transponder and will only find DVB-S/QPSK

Can this transponder be viewed on the East Coast of Australia on a 85 CM dish?

I've only ever done a blindscan to find feeds. You can check the TP's after the scan to see what they are but I thought it found both modulations.

Also the v8 supercar feed was in 4:2:2 so if the pics were still running you would see them with the Az. And yes you can pick them up on the east cost no probs.

I wonder why I cant find it then. Maybe my steps during blind scan are to large for the Symbol rate or Freq

The only reason I can see for not finding this transponder and the other two feeds that have the same S/R at 15000 is that possibly my LNBF is slightly skewed or my blind scan steps in Freq and Symbol rate are to large. I have no other problems picking up other Vertical Transponders

If your lnbf skew is out by a few degrees the carrier on 12644 H will knock out lower power feeds on the vertical. So check that.
