    Mate what is the exact number on the ic? That number is a cross between the model # and a transistor prefix, it aint a normal ic part #.

    Strange part number.
    Sounds more like a transistor.

    If it is in fact an I.C. then it is more likely to be a upD6871NF

    No search results for a upd6871, not even 6871 in any of my data sheet refs, and I'm sure 2SD transistors havent made it to the 6000's yet, so its a funny one.......

    Schematic says the Vertical Chip is a LA78041.

    Very,very common I.C. in nearly all Chinese sets.

    Tell you what though Dowie.
