Default 'TRACER' brand MPPT solar charge controllers for off-grid? Any good?

Looking to install a couple more panels onto my live-aboard yacht to take my solar capacity up to about 500W.

I currently have a Steca Solarix MPPT2010 which is rated to 250W and will die if the voltage-in exceeds 100V.

I'm seeing the 'TRACER' brand from China being advertised around the traps, with the TRACER-4210RN being rated to 520W with over-voltage disconnect and a snazzy remote info/controller. Price is under $400.

Anyone have any experience with them?

    Default

Finally decided to outlay some serious money as the marine enviroment is unkind to cheap stuff.

I went for a MidNite Classic 150. Can take 150V in, and will just shutdown if that is exceeded. 93A is heaps. It has LAN interface, dismountable control pannel, onboard logging, upgradable firmware, bells, whistles... you name it!

Quality USA designed and built. About $750 delivered from the states.
