Xp Sp3 Bsod

Anyone else having previously stable systems suddenly start to BSOD after last Windows Update? I have had two lappys and a tower go down in the last few days .. usually when using another Micro$oft app like IE7 or Outlook Express. BSODs are usually blamed on recently installed software but the only new software to be loaded to them recently is the updates. When IE7 had BSOD I switched to Firefox .... no probs.
Appreciate any input.

either that or it crashes,pissin me off lately.
im back loading sp2 with few upates
there was a nvidia storage driver causing sp3 probs
cant remove it if u have sata but or no boot.
try removing and reinstall ie6, if that dont do it try the ie7 standalone install.
