    Default Tapatalk 4 - Issues

Have been happy with Tapatalk on iPhones. Seems to load fast, post fast, edit fast... all good

But.... my experience with Tapatalk on Android are horrible at best.

    Device: Samsung Galaxy S3 4G

    Have been using Tapatalk 4.0.13
Worked until today when it said "App out of date" please download lastest from Playstore.

I tried many way to get it to open, no luck.
    Downloaded Tapatalk 4.1.3 HD

On entering my Tapatalk login details, it fails to bring up my saved forums.
Then worse, it fails to manual search for them.

Even before this happened .... Tapatalk on Android was slow to load, slow to post, often needing many reattempts.

    Anyone else suffered similar?
Is there a better option out there that works smoothly?
Or perhaps a known Tapatalk version that works as it should?
    Thanks

That is strange. I had the same update message but unlike your experience mine was fine.
As you lost all your saved forums/settings try to clear the Tapatalk cache from the Application Manager. Sometimes things go wrong with apps due to the cache being corrupted somehow.

It has actually improved during the day.
The Tapatalk forum was hammered with complaints.

    Maybe their servers?

    Thanks jwoegerbauer

Yeah I take not everyone is suffering as I am, but there are enough posts on the net and Tapatalk to represent a problem.
mine has just started to forget login details now too.

    Ill check your link, cheers

Go to the App manager, clear the cache & data and re-install. Tip: Disable AD-blocker(s) before using TapaTalk 4.

Android technology seems to be quite far behind doesn't it? I've found that quite a few Android apps that have been adapted from iOS apps seem to quite laggy, I'm not sure whether or not it's a hardware or software error but it seems to be across the board. Strange.
