    This is a United Kingdom STB

    Youview STB is a combination Internet & Digital FTA STB

    Its main selling point is "Scroll Back & watch TV Programs you may have missed in the Last 7 days from the TV Guide "

    I wonder how long before something like this is in Australia

    I think it's more of a case of can the Australian networks stop stabbing each other in the back long enough to agree on making it work.

    Integrated 'catch up' and the like has been spruiked as some of the wonderful features of Australia's Freeview system for years but as yet it has failed to appear. Taking a look at the features of Freeview have actually been implemented (well features that are of benefit to the view that is!) the Freeview 'accurate' recording system continues to limp along in Australia but works quite successfully in the UK. IMO it's quite likely that should integrated 'catch up' etc ever appear it too will be half-arsed and limping.
