Default Set up remote DVR viewing via Telstra 4G wifi

How can a DVR that only has an RJ 45 Internet connection port be set up hardware wise, to be remote accessed/viewed using telstras 4G Sierra wireless wifi.
The DVR has one USB port for downloading to a storage device but could be used to power another device.
There is no hard wired Internet available at all.
The upload and download speed of the wifi is around 18 Mbps.
I have seen some info regarding this on a net gear converter but it's not complete enough.

Apologies if it has been covered before but I couldn't find it.

DVR to Access Point in "Infrastructure Mode" to 4G device
Far better to ditch the MiFi unit and use a dedicated 3G/4G wired modem, that allows correct configuration.

There are many slightly different configurations of the above that allow different options.
I use a WiFi 4 Port Router as well, which would then allow you to log into the DVR's UI via a Laptop.

Netcomm 3G/4G router is the go.

There is their domestic stuff and industrial gear. Get into the industrial stuff where ever possible.

Their Industrial stuff would want to better than their domestic stuff, i had 7 failed Netgear modems in 2 years, between 3 jobs.
All in the scrap heap now, and with different problems.... Utter Junk.

    He said Netcomm, not Netgear.

I have had 3 Netgear modems in 15 years....threw out 2 because technology superceeded them.

yeah i have their domestic in home and agree it isnt the best, but the industrial stuff is a lot better and I dont seem to have issues with it on the job and in harsh environments FWIW.

The units i had many failures with are, NetComm 3G9WB (i have 6 failed units, a client has around 7 in his workshop, all failed between 3 and 10 months from purchase), and also the 3G41WT.

When they work, they work well, but in all of our cases, they had radio problems, would drop 3G and only get 2G or no connection at all.
We went through the all the bullshit of waiting for replacements, being told to install the latest firmware, blah blah blah, all just a massive waste of time and leaving the client without internet while we waited for replacements.

I switched to using the Option Globesurfer 3+ and haven'd had an issue since.
