PREmodded Wii Consoles, Where?......
Can any of you gentlemen recommend a good premodded new Wii console supplier with warranty, please. Cheers

You might find a supplier who provides that service, but its easier and more common to buy a new unit and send it to a modder, then you know whats been done and how old the unit is. BTW your warranty will be stuffed, so it may be better sense to buy a used one and mod it.
There are modders who sell used modded units as well and this is common too.

An Austech site supporter sells them with warranty.

My kids are bugging me about a Wii , I know nothing about them.
I know they can be chipped , can you copy wii games yourself etc ? Any info appreciated as I know nothing about them at all.
Original Wii games can be "backed up" either
1. on the Wii console and using a SD card to dump the ISO to.
2. Using a RAWDUMP compatible drive in your PC.
Onces they have been backed up to a dvd-r you can copy them with a normal disk copy.

none on the rest ie lazer powersupply m/board
no one is going to give you warranty on the unit be it xbox xbox360 wii ps2
Most modders will have warrant on the chip and there work for at least 12 months and most of them more.

is it a common thing that modded consoles are more prone to **** ups or the modification won't have any negative effect on the console?
lazer are the most common problem
due to the backups used and bad media ect
apart from that should last as long as a unmodded 1
well then it doesn't sound like I should be worried about anything, so I think I'll be going for this one unless anyone know of a better deal, please let me know, Cheers
