Default Increase Favorites storage on XL

Just updated my maps and Navcore on my XL, but whats bugging me is the limited Favorites/Waypoint storage, its up to currently 48 and will not save anymore locations, damn annoying, I use it for work and need to store a 100 or so locations.
Anyone know of a patch or mod for this, I've searched but could not find anything.
    Any help would be appreciated

    8. Signatures or user profiles containing commercial advertising for any web sites or advertising commercial goods will be removed , as will your account if you persist in doing it. This does not apply to Premium Members. Advertising banners are not permitted in signatures by any member group. A small logo may be permitted but if deemed to be too big will be removed at Austech's discretion.

Why not simply convert your favourites into POI's?
    Makes life so much easier....
Just search for POIEDIT or similar tools on Google,
load your mapsettings.cfg that has all the favourites and save as OV2 file,
If you add a nice BMP you also see them on the map screen.

Then you only need to copy the .ov2 and .bmp files to any new version of your map. The format of the mapsettings.cfg file has been know to change between map versions and involves a bit more work (instructions somewhere in the forum) and success seems, in my configuration, to depend upon Navcore & boot loader combination and having the .dll required to use "Operate my device" in TTHome. - which I don't have for 9.134.

The POIEdit Program I installed did not allow me to open other files. Only those with OV2 extentions. I copied the mapsettings.cfg file into another temp directory and changed the extention to OV2 and copied it back into the map folder. However POIEdit could now see it but refused to open it as not acceptable.
I downloaded the POIEdit program that was labeled for TomTom's. Sorry Downunder but what am I doing wrong here?
    Thanks

No idea as I never had a problem opening the mapsettings.cfg with POIEdit from Denote software.

No worries, there are other converters out there too but for the simple tasks POIEdit is still the best and easiest to use.
Shame really that the development has seized.
