    Default Nexus 5

Any Nexus 5 users here? Now that it's been a few days(perhaps even weeks) since release, what do you think about it? According to the reviews I've seen so far, it's pretty much the best device on the market in the sub-400 price range. And it runs 4.4 out of the box.

My friends are considering it but keep saying how much the battery life sucks. One friend got it the first day and mentioned that it only lasts around 2 hours when playing simple puzzle games. Also random texting and web browsing causes him to have to charge it daily. It seems pretty detrimental creating a new phone with amazing capabilities and power only to have it contain a poor battery life. I would say wait for an extended battery to be released or see if they release operating system improvements that will improve the battery life.

Having Android Kit Kat out of the box is definitely a big plus. Some phones won't be getting that upgrade for several more months from now. Personally, I'd rather go with the Motorola X because it was always-on voice commands. The Nexus 5 is still a great phone for the price. As far as battery-life, any smart phone can have bad battery life if you run a ton of apps at once. I haven't heard too many people complaining that much about the Nexus 5 battery life.

As other people have said, having a nice clean version of Android out of the box is awesome. The price is just right for getting enough attention both for LG and Google. My only gripe would be that they should make it slightly more expensive and add a larger battery life and maybe a better speaker. These are the only things that let it down but in saying that, they aren't something that would stop me buying it.
