Its possible , Back in 1974 when I was backpacking around Greece I spotted a Holden HD panel van (with Greek Rego) in a little village up in the mountains
I was wondering if anybody has heard of this one? supposedly they built about 200. I did a search on google but could't find anything.

Google the words "south african monaro" heaps of info.....
@watchdog, i bet if you stopped the driver he was probably a Greek/Australian.
Heaps of greeks went back home and some probably took their ferrari with them.
I personally know older Greeks that still drive them today and still swear their the best cars ever made.
GMH shipped them to SA where they were assemble
Ford did the same in 72 they shipped xygt ie fairmont GT
here a link
Somehow I don't think so. Strictly speaking it's not an Australian car. It's a South African car , so you could never class it as an Aussie muscle car. Actually I don't think there is such a thing as an "Aussie Muscle car" .
Muscle Cars are an American term and if you want to class a car in that context then all we really had were "Pony Cars". We had the best "Touring Cars", hence the "GT" option..
