I thought I would post a couple of artillery shells up that I own.
The first is an absolute monster....this is a 4.5 inch Naval Artillery shell. Its dated 1960. Sunglasses in pic for size comparison.

3 PR = 3 Pounder approx 47mm
IV = APRIL & means its from the Navy as it is in Roman Numerals.
N =the propellant (refer to website)
Not sure about the others
R.I = Rhode Island???

DM600 & 85cm Motorised Dish
The Small Arms Factory Museum in Lithgow, NSW has I think has probably the World's largest private collection of weapons and I think, ammunition to match the weapons.
The majority of their display is of ALL the items that were made at the 'Factory' during its life along with other items related to that as well as many donated pieces either on 'loan' or as gifts.
Obviously those who run the Museum are real enthusiasts and many worked there manufacturing both weapons and the other items they 'Sub'd to do.
