I have a couple of questions:
* what power adaptor did it come with, does it fit aussie wall sockets, 240vAC?
* What version of winCE did it come with?
* What version of tomtom was installed.
* What's the build quality like?
* max size sd card it will support?
* what version tomtom can it be upgraded to?
* what version (australia) maps does it support?
Thanks in advance ...

Thanks, anyone else ...??
Curiosity brought me to this thread: Do all the dealextreme units come with Australian maps or is it pot luck?
I was also looking at , as they have some Winmo6 devices, but again, I don't know what maps they come with. there's some suggestion on the site that its just luck, in which case some hacking, or something like miopocket would be needed.

I purchased one of the 4.3" 'Chinese' units DealsExtreme sell on Ebay, came with
IGO8 and the 2008 Australian map
Runs WIN CE5 and I've been able to get 9 navigation programs working on it off the one HCDC 4GB card using a different menu
Fantastic little device for the price but battery life isn't overly flash
Deal Extreme GPS's as advertised comes with igo8 and US maps. It's a lottery as to what other maps might be on the 2Gb SD card. Simply add your maps.
WinCe 5.
US adapter pinned 110 - 240 AC 5 v 2A.
Quality is fine. Includes an AV in input.
I've only tried a 4Gb SDHC, but should run much bigger.
They're getting very cheap.
