Default S2003/XP: High CPU usage - not showing up in task manager

    Hello thread viewers!
I have a problem on my windows 2003 installation where 70-100% CPU is always being used. On a restart, the CPU usage starts at around 10% but within 5 minutes the CPU Usage is at 100% again. Task Manager doesn't show anything using CPU:

So I downloaded Process Monitor and process monitor shows:

Does anyone know what "Interrupts" is and why it's eating all of my CPU? The Description says "Hardware interrupts and DPCs". Has anyone come across this issue? A Google search shows that this is an issue with XP as well.

    Thanks,
    Adam

Can't read result Task Manager delivered? The process you mention is named "System Idle Process" which means in case of 99% only 1% CPU actually is used.

    Fixed by updating drivers
