    Try

I assume you are talking about a car here??

What sort of car is it?
    Is it OBD or OBD2?

Obd 2 by the sounds of the error. Erg valve sensor, or erg vacuum restriction, or fuel tank pressure problem

Just type one out into excel...put the error number in and the line with info appears.

yes it is OBD2 i thought there might be a program that will be already put together like a fault code searcher (standalone type) with all types of codes

Ok heres a basic one i use sometimes for basic quick fault finding, it can work without being connected to the car, download it, unzip, make sure all programs running in the background are closed and install.

When opening it press start, it wil tell you its not connected to the car, do you want to retry, press no.

    press set protocol manual.

    press trouble codes

    press lookup trouple codes defenitions

press select vehicle from dropdown menu and select the car you want

press enter anycode and press return key to search

Enter the codes in the small window and the diagnostic is explained.

    Enjoy
