Didn't it come with the tactile keyboard / cover?
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy...

    Bummer, mine came with it.
I only ever use it when I am using Word, otherwise the onscreen keyboard works well for everything else.

I don't really feel a need for a KB only a cover but the KB's come with them.

If I get the Surf, I will keep it. But I'm not going out of my way to purchase one. The Surf, unlike the more updated windows 8 and windows 8.1 devices, cannot install exe files. That limits it's abilities. It's like having a tablet that's android, when you really need a tablet that's like a computer.

I got my Bluetooth keyboard for $14 on Amazon. Just makes sure to check around before purchasing it. My keyboard works very well.

Screen keyboards are neat and convenient, but they limit your typing speed, especially when you are looking to type things very fast. Sometimes people who do data entry jobs, for example, need more speed.
