Default Best Modem/Router with parental/access control

Have a Telstra internet connection with the standard provided wifi modem/router.
Unfortunately the controls in this modem are not fully enabled.
I wish to control what computers are connected + bandwidth and quota allocation etc. access timers and any other parental controls that may be of some use
Looking for recommendations for wifi modem/routers with excellent access control.
    Thanks in advance

My Netgear N600 has all you mentioned from memory, I lock my kids out on occasions.

$160-$200 will get you one, I am more than happy with mine.

Edit : Fark they are getting cheap

I'm a Draytek fan and they will do everything you need and more............................ but

The 'But' is - They cost an arm and a legg.
We use the range at all of our site locations and have never, ever had a problem
In hindsight I should have posted my Facebook status as: "I've blown the head gasket on my 1997 XR3i" rather than "I've just buggered a 14 year old escort".
The police still haven't seen the funny side, my lap top's been confiscated and the wife has gone off to her mum's.

Bought the same a week ago from the goodguys at the best price I could find at the time.
Jb hifi's price is the lowest I've seen.
Just back from goodguys to use the 30 day price guarantee.
    120% refund on difference.
    Thanks Admin for link.

With the N600 Do you have to load an App or software onto every computer or device that connects to the network?

No it will deal with each device using Mac address or "allowed" list

IIRC both of my Billion routers do it using MAC address, too, haven't needed to worry about it though.

The N600 seems to get a fair contrast in reviews. Its either the best thing since sliced bread or don't touch it with a barge pole.

I use the N600 and its never missed a beat , the firmware is excellent and easy too use , i do however use Network magic but its not essential , just makes it a bit easier.
