Hi Hoe!

Just wondering how long it takes to change channel. For example if you change from BBC1 to Sky1?

I am currently using NTV.mx on XBMC but it takes about 10 seconds to connect from one channel to the next. Wondering if the Mag250 and IPTV deals is faster.

It depends on the buffer size you have selected.
Probably about 5 seconds.

Do you find this set-up reliable? The current set up I have tends to have it problems sometimes. I realise it's as good as the internet connection.

Yes, it took a while to get the router set up properly.
No torrenting or downloading at the same time and minimum 1.5 Mbps download speed

My Adsl sync is 20500/1000.

Just Noticed they updated the channel list with some new packages as well

2014/01/14 Sports + HD package available (including USA channels)

Testing for most HD channels is finally complete. We have added another package which is available through our store. It features over 50 sports channels from all around the world, including 26 HD channels and 12 all-new USA channels!

These channels are also available with the Ultimate package, and we had to adjust price for Ultimate for Web and XBMC to correspond the changes.

It depends on whats required for SD.......some say 1.5 but I would say thats maybe a bit low.

You really need a large or unlimited plan for this sort of stuff....I would guess around 700 meg an hour at least.

They are streaming SD with 800 Kbit/s. That would lead to a traffic of 352MB/h.
HD is comming with 2000 Kbit/s. That will use 879MB/h.

Note: watching SD with only 800 Kbit/s on a big screen isn't funny at all. For a good quality SD picture you need at least 1400 to enjoy it.
Also 2000 for HD is a bit low. If they charge that much money, they should deliver better streams.
There are lots of providers who deliver the same quality for way less. And as far as i can say they have the same reliability as futubox for example.

just to give ya a heads up they will be adding mag only packages... 2 new usa servers and a backbone server closer to aus. big potential from this server to come. i watch the hd channels on here flawless... but i do have over 100mbps download speed. anyone else have good experience with this service?

I have this channels on xbmc , but best quality picture I have seen is 720 pixels , but live sport is lower than sd quality, is the mag 250 better pictures ?

i am waiting on a test login to the ukwebtv usa package, will report as soon as I have tested it.

I have been running on iptvdeals sky uk package for a couple of months, it works fine.

You need at least 1.5MB download speed for glitch free viewing.....
