Default Twinhan DVB-S PCI card ??

    Hi all,

Looking for some input on this older Twinhan DVB-S card..

Can anyone tell me how good it is & if they were a good card to use etc..

I dont know anything about them as yet.. was actually looking for a Mantis 1034 from what I have read so far , but not sure what chip this 1 has or if its any good at all ??

    ALL comments appreciated..

Also a ball park figure on what its worth IF its actually worth buying at all...

edit : even the correct model # so I can google some more..

Go with the 1034 works well. About $135

The earlier ones had chip set issues causing picture breakups. Use the older ones for logging.

Will keep my eyes for a new purple cam

    Thanks guys..

will scrapp this card , as it seems to be an older chip with numerous problems & go for the new better supported card.

It seems there are a few different chipsets on this particular card & dont think its a 1034.. so a save of $$ in the long run..

Any suggestions on best priced locations for the 1034's ???

I swear by the digiwave 103G's I use. Search for my post about them. I run them in a MythTV setup.
