Default 2.4ghz pc wireless controllers driver problem

I just got these via the post from ebay, with a winning bid of $15.

They come with a drivers disc that has two drivers on it, picture under

When I click the bottom file, nothing happens, no setup exe file,nil...the other file does work.
I tried the setup disc in 2 other pc's, same result.

Here are some screenshots from the "property tabs"

I have successfully exported the files as rars to desktop and usb stick, unzipped them, and tried to load, all to no avail.

Does anyone know what I should try, or have a generic win 7 32 bit driver to suit?

    Thanks

ive had this issue before and when i was building silent install
cds i used a program called UNIEXTRACTOR.

i would use it to unpack exe files and then i could do what i needed to.

This program may let you extract the files from within the exe and install
the necessary files to run the controller.

I saw in the pics it is an install sheild built exe so select that option on extraction
into a folder on your desktop

dont say linux if i wanted it id install it

no hassles found the file online and had same problem

    1: rename it to USB_Vibration_Joystick_V23.exe

2: right click and select properties

    3; select compatability

    4: set to xp3

    install and enjoy
dont say linux if i wanted it id install it

    diavalo13666...ahhh..nothing but trouble lately...

I did as you suggested, here is a shot of my saved tab

Still won't run the exe file.

Maybe someone could point me to an online, or small download of a racing game or something to test them with?

I have been trying to use them via pcsx emulator, and playing a PS2 V8 supercars game...naturally I can get the old wired controllers to work, but not these.

I don't have another pc game to test them with.Kids got me Need for Speed Rivals for Xmas, and this is why I ordered the controllers. Later I learnt that EA doesn't support a wheel or controller for this game...talk about crazy. I just cannot for the life of me, use my fingers on the keyboard to control everything...talk about stupid in not allowing for a gamepad...stuff on the net everywhere about the stupidity of EA

Now when I go into device manager, I see this "Hid compliant game controller", and this has only sprung in there since you told me to try the SP3 compatibility....maybe it did load something, but it just did not display the installation process when doing so?

i found the file online but had to rename it properly to remove the Chinese
description it had at the beginning of the file name.

i was also having the same issues you mentioned but remembered that
i once had issues with a exe file for my usb microscope and it was the naming
of the file that created the issue.
dont say linux if i wanted it id install it

Just for anyone's benefit, once this driver issue was overcome, the joystick works a treat.

If like me, you are a tight #rse, watching one of the sale threads from that supplier, may be a good thing for you too?
