Mine is a landline with 4.5 km of cable between me and the exchange...this is the best speeds I have been getting for a while, as we have not had any wet weather, which slows things down radically.

Wireless? Not sure what you mean.
3G, best i've got is 10.58Mb down... Normally its around 7.5 to 8.
All depends how i connect (via a tethered device or on the Phone itself), quicker again if the SIM is in a modem.

this is my speed now during the middle of the day it was very similar to leroy's then spike to something around shagga's
another thing i noticed is that the roku 3 seems to handle the slower speeds better than the roku 2 XS

    Thumbs down

Well I used to get over 5Mb/s download & just over 1Mb/s upload when I first connected to the NBN interim satellite broadband thru APN/Activ8/iPstar
Now it is so overloaded with traffic, I get stuff all.

Providing the NBN satellites are launched at least you have light at the end of the tunnel for a better service than you currently have .

    Wow I never win anything.
The best ping you can get on satellite is 600 ms due to satellite signal latency. That is the time it takes for the signal to reach the satellite, then sent to the server & back again. I usually get around 650 ms to 750 ms.

Its a little better now the Long Weekend Tourists have pissed off, but still plenty of people here, alas, the internet have improved a little.
At least Netflix is back in HD.

(3k from Tower, Samsung S3, 3G connection, Tethered to laptop)
